Why my all time favourite movie is, and always will be,
The Prince of Egypt:
1. When Moses' mother sings in "deliver us" it NEVER fails to give me spine chills.
2. Moses and Tzipporah are undeniably the hottest couple in animation history.
3. It is the only biblical movie that hasn't been blasphemed, had effort put into, wasn't on a silly budget and isn't boring (lol you know it's true).
4. Pharaoh's two side kicks, Hotep and Huy, are flipping hilarious.
5. After watching it, I feel I can take on the WORRRRLLLD AND PART SEAS WITH LIKE A WOODEN SPOON AND TURN MY CO-WORKER'S COFFEE INTO BLOOD. Which I then realize is impossible and eat my feelings away in chocolate.
6. Pharaoh has a british accent, which I find sooo funny. It's like...."Hey I'm Pharaoh, the tannest, most naked man of them all, but I sound like a total poofter." Isn't it so weird though that a character with a british accent is almost always depicted as evil?
7. The fact that Moses (how he really was) was the least confident person EVER, but God chose him to tell Pharaoh to pretty much get stuffed.
8. That scene when Moses talks to God in the cave. Such a powerful scene that leaves me speechless every time. "WHO MADE MAN'S MOUTH? WHO MADE THE DEAF, THE MUTE, THE SEEING OR THE BLIND? DID NOT I? NOW GO!" Yup, that one.
9. That Tzipporah has that super independent attitude, and has "resting bitch-face syndrome", which I totally relate to (hey you get less wrinkles while beaming on the inside!).
Hey girl... lemme part your sea.
